Parent Education Group Connections

WFSC offers group connections to provide a means of parents establishing social connections with one another.

These activities allow parents to form new friendships as well as social networks.  As aligned with our home visiting curricula specific groups are planned to focus on development centered parenting and may include topics such as: 

  • Nurturing Behaviors
  • Family Time and Recreation
  • Discipline vs. Punishment
  • Establishing Rules
  • Toy Safety
  • Recognizing Danger

Parent Café is an adaption of the World Café process (www.theworldcafe.com) which encourages self-reflection and peer-to-peer learning (Kids Café will be held with the children at the same time as Parent Café)
